Located in Vancouver, Washington, Byrd Legal Services was started by Louis B. Byrd, Jr., to provide smart legal solutions for working class families and individuals He is certified to practice before all Washington courts, the U.S. District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Mr. Byrd is a former Washington State assistant attorney general, where he represented state boards and agencies. He is a 1997 graduate of the highly competitive Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer College, where he spent 30 days studying trial theory and preparation under the personal guidance of renowned criminal and civil trial lawyer Gerry Spence.

Louis B. Byrd, Jr., earned his law degree from Willamette University School of Law after already having received a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Western Oregon State University. A long time resident of Washington, Mr. Byrd is committed to serving the people of his community.

Mr. Byrd received a certificate in dispute resolution at Willamette University, and focuses on resolving his clients’ problems in a timely and cost-effective manner. His ability to advocate for his clients’ needs has earned his law firm a reputation for excellent legal service.

Mr. Byrd is involved in several legal associations, including Washington State Bar Association, the Washington Criminals Defense Lawyers Association, the National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Clark County Bar Association, and the criminal defense and family law sections of the Clark County Bar Association.
