Lawyer Overview

Bruce J. Miller has limited his practice to Domestic Relations Law and Family Law and he has handled at least 1,000 cases in that field. Mr. Miller is a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association. Mr. Miller was Chairman of the Family Law Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association for three consecutive years and of the Committee for Coordination with the Court in family law procedures. Mr. Miller has lectured at SUNY Farmingdale and at SUNY Stony Brook on matrimonial law for the Legal Secretaries Program and the Paralegal Programs. Mr. Miller has lectured for numerous civic and political groups in the field of matrimonial law. Mr. Miller has also lectured in Canada on New York matrimonial law and has been qualified as an expert by the Canadian Courts. In 1975 Mr. Miller was elected a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has lectured for that organization.
