Mr. Armato is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Peer Rated attorney that serves as trial counsel for several national and multinational corporations in complex litigation involving personal injury and wrongful death.  Mr. Armato also serves as part of a national coordinating counsel team for several companies that manages thousands of claims, develops and implements trial strategies, and negotiates global and per-case settlements throughout the United States, including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Louisiana, and Ohio.  As part of the team, Mr. Armato has participated in the selection and development of expert witnesses, corporate representatives, pathologists, industrial hygienists, materials scientists, epidemiologists and medical historians. 

Mr. Armato has successfully tried numerous felony criminal, product liability, personal injury, business disputes, and unfair and deceptive trade practices cases to verdict.  Mr. Armato has pre-trial and trial experience before General Courts-Martials, the United States Federal District Court for the Districts of Hawaii, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, and the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Superior Courts. 

Prior to joining Cetrulo & Capone LLP, Mr. Armato served in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General's Corp. from 1993 to 1997.  Mr. Armato was stationed at the Navy Legal Service Office, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii as a legal assistance attorney, defense counsel, staff judge advocate for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and as special assistant United States Attorney for the District of Hawaii.  Currently, Mr. Armato is a Commander in the United States Navy Reserves, where he recently concluded tours as a Trial Advocacy Instructor at the Naval Justice School in Newport, Rhode Island and as an International Law Instructor at the Defense Institute for International Legal Studies, Newport, Rhode Island. He currently serves as legal counsel to Commander, Naval Personnel Command in Washington, D.C.
