Lawyer Overview

Caroline Landt practices employment law, advising and defending for-profit and not-for-profit employers in employment law issues. She has litigated matters related to discrimination, sexual harassment, labor-management relations, minimum wage/overtime compensation, covenants not to compete and executive employment contracts.

Ms. Landt has successfully represented clients before the Eleventh Circuit, the Florida Supreme Court, the National Labor Relations Board, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Florida Commission of Human Relations.

Ms. Landt focuses her practice on all aspects of the Fair Labor Standards Act including audits of employee classifications and pay practices, compliance guidance, training, and defense against Department of Labor investigations and FSLA litigation.

Ms. Landt has successfully prosecuted non-compete violations and trade-secret misappropriations in both federal and state courts. Additionally, Ms. Landt assists clients with creating protective measures through non-compete, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements.
