Lawyer Overview

Nora Gibson focuses her practice on federal securities law and public offering representation. She represents investment banks and companies in public equity and debt offerings, 144A private placement offerings, and mezzanine-level private placements of equity and debt securities. Nora has served as lead attorney on more than 100 initial public and follow-on offerings, primarily by growth-oriented technology companies. Based on the number of IPOs completed between 1998 (the year IPO Vital Signs began tracking such information) and 2006, she ranked seventh in combined issuer and underwriter representations and tied for fourth in underwriter representations in the IPO Vital Signs rankings. In addition, she counsels investment banks on federal securities law and FINRA issues and advises on underwriting agreement forms as well as on general legal and business matters.
