Kerry Owens is a shareholder in the Real Estate, Banking and Finance department. He practices in the areas of real estate purchase, sale and development, zoning and permitting, financing and loan documentation, and commercial and industrial leasing. Mr. Owens earned a B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 1992. In 1996, he received his J.D. degree from the University of Utah College of Law where he was a Leary Scholar. While in law school, Mr. Owens served as a member of the Utah Law Review from 1994 to 1996. He is admitted to practice in Utah.

Mr. Owens has been lead counsel in the development of one of the largest multipurpose student housing projects in Utah. He also has significant resort development experience.

Mr. Owens is listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers For Business.
