Business Law and Real Estate. Mr. Howard completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received the prestigious award as the outstanding graduating senior for the class of 1967. Thereafter, he attended UCLA Law School and has practiced law for the past 30 years.  Mr. Howard was recently selected by the Los Angeles Magazine as one of its 2006 Super Lawyers.

At Glaser Weil, Mr. Howard concentrates in corporate/business law (primarily in the area of mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, etc.) and transactional real estate law (primarily in the areas of commercial, restructuring, importing companies, acquisitions, leasing, etc.).  He represents numerous national and local manufacturing companies, financial institutions, entertainment production studios, world wide importers, REITS, foreign entities, real estate developers, etc.

Mr. Howard has been involved in numerous, complex, and well known projects, including the recent sale of the largest U.S. medical uniform manufacturer, and the sale of the largest U.S. direct sales organization, the restructuring of the historical landmark, The Mission Inn (Riverside, CA).

A frequent lecturer on business law and commercial real estate topics, Mr. Howard has conducted seminars and lectured before such organizations as the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Chicago Title Insurance Company, the University of California at Los Angeles Extension Programs, and various franchise/licensing programs.
