Denise Carkhuff has acted as the principal outside lawyer on scores of completed M&A and private equity transactions in over a dozen years in practice. Her experience covers a wide range of matters in a variety of industries and deal structures. The main focus of Denise's practice is the representation of private equity funds.

The private equity funds with which Denise has worked include Black Canyon Capital, Blue Point Capital Partners, Cortec Group, Edgewater Capital Partners, High Road Capital Partners, Industrial Growth Partners, Kirtland Capital Partners, Morgenthaler Partners, The Riverside Company, Roundtable Healthcare Partners, and Soin International. Denise also has been involved with many significant and complex M&A transactions involving public and private clients including Bravo Development, Cross Holdings, ERICO International Corporation, Life Line Screening of America, MTC Technologies, Nikko Materials, Parker Hannifin Corporation, PolyOne Corporation, and Roadway Corporation.

Denise is the author of articles on M&A and corporate governance topics published in Buyouts and VC Experts. She is on the board of E Prep, an urban charter school, and leads Women In Transactions, a networking group for women doing transactional work in the Cleveland area.
