Lawyer Overview

As counsel in the Litigation Department, Philip G. Barber has represented clients in antitrust matters, business torts, and litigation in the securities area, including securities fraud, regulatory enforcement actions, and tender offer litigation. He also has represented corporate policyholders in the prosecution of lawsuits seeking insurance coverage for asbestos, environmental and other liabilities.

Mr. Barber has practiced before state and federal courts throughout the country. Prior to joining the firm, he was an attorney in the Enforcement Division of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
