Alberto Bustamante’s practice encompasses a range of real estate transactions, including commercial, industrial, office and retail development, leasing and sales. As a complement to his service for clients, Mr. Bustamante offers counsel with entity structuring, environmental law, land use and zoning. His experience in government affairs, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and not-for-profit corporations provides a balanced understanding of clients' business needs and a practical application to facilitate success in achieving their goals. Mr. Bustamante counsels companies, developers, property managers, landlords and tenants on a myriad of sophisticated transactions throughout the United States and abroad. A significant proportion of his experience has been focused on the restaurant and services industry, sales, leasing and franchising. Mr. Bustamante is fluent in Spanish and represents U.S. and foreign companies with international operations. Mr. Bustamante has served as general counsel to transportation agencies in Florida and represents the Catholic Diocese of Orlando in business and real estate matters.
Mr. Bustamante has lectured on professional topics including leasing, business transactions, transportation and corporate formation. He is a member of NAIOP, ICSC, APTA, NDAA and the Real Property, Probate and Trust section of the Florida Bar.
Community: Mr. Bustamante has actively served as a member and officer on community and service boards in Central Florida including the Historical Society; City of Orlando Police Citizens Review Board; City of Orlando Naval Training Center Redevelopment Board (Baldwin Park); Cuban Cultural Heritage; the Oakland Charter School; and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
