Bill Bode is the firm founder and managing partner. He received a Masters in Business and Economics from Stanford University and performed systems analysis studies at the Pentagon under Department of Defense Secretary Robert McNamara. After departing from the Pentagon, Bill received his law degree from George Washington University and began the practice of law in 1972. He has developed an expertise in a number of practice areas – a tribute to an energetic mind and many long days at the office – including environmental, energy, and intellectual property. Bill has argued cases before the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Second, Fourth, Sixth, Ninth, D.C. Circuit, the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has been fortunate to win cases that have made new law.
