Kevin Ferguson's practice includes the areas of patent, trademark, and copyright law. His primary focus is on patent and trademark litigation, and he has represented Jones Day clients in patent cases in federal district courts throughout the country and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Kevin's litigation experience includes discovery work, motion practice, deposition practice, trial preparation, and post-trial work. His experience includes lawsuits relating to a broad range of software, semiconductor, Internet, chemical, and optical technologies. In addition, he has experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications.

Kevin is a member of the State Bar of Illinois, The Chicago Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago.
