He is a 1985 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Boston (BA, English, magna cum laude) where he won the Bunselmeyer Prize for Distinction in Language and Literature.
Mr. Salinger received his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 1989 and, as part of his legal training, interned at the law firms of Miller, Cassidy, Larocca, and Lewin in Washington, D.C., Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak, and Cohen in Boston, and Peckham, Casey, Lobel, and Tye in Boston. He is admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Attorney Seth Salinger is co-author of "Does a Sincerely-Held Religious Belief Confer a Right to Discriminate?" Boston Bar Journal, 1996. Mr. Salinger is married to Sharon S. Salinger, a novelist and editor at the Massachusetts Medical Society, which publishes the New England Journal of Medicine. They have two children.
