Stephen Shapiro is a seasoned litigator with extensive trial and appellate litigation experience. In addition to litigating cases involving labor law and premises liability claims, Steve has represented clients in administrative proceedings and commercial cases, in addition to state and federal criminal proceedings.

A former prosecutor in the New York County District Attorney's Office, he has served as Inspector General of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and as a staff attorney in the Appeals Bureau of the Nassau County Legal Aid Society. A 1972 graduate of Syracuse University's College of Law, Steve is a faculty member of the New York County District Attorney's Office Annual Trial Advocacy Course.
