Lawyer Overview
Mr. Fein is the Managing Shareholder of the Business Law Department and Tax, Trusts and Estate and Elder Law Departments. For almost 30years he has been acting as corporate counsel to businesses across industrysectors, advising clients on issues ranging from start-up, to attractingfinancing, through mergers and acquisitions, and to exiting the business.
Mr. Fein began his career as an attorney in the Estate and Gift Tax Divisionof the Internal Revenue Service. From this knowledge base he has developed asophisticated trusts and estates practice, offering estate planning solutions toclients with a wide range of planning needs. He represents clients in all phasesof estate administration from preparation of tax returns to will contests.
Mr. Fein has years of experience in the relatively new area of elder law. Hewas an early member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) andworks closely with clients developing strategies to cope with the financialrealities of aging and failing health.
Mr. Fein is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association, Morris County Bar Association and Essex County Bar Association. He writes articles and lectures on topics related to business planning, estate planning and elder law.
