Lawyer Overview
Dennis Drapkin provides executive compensation and tax advice to public and private companies. He advises on structuring compensation arrangements, including equity and other incentive compensation plans, and provides counseling in merger, acquisition, and other business transactions. His practice also includes a wide range of general tax matters. He helps direct the Firm's Executive Compensation Practice.
Dennis's representative clients include Bell Microproducts, CBS, Harman International, HealthMarkets, Macy's, Novatel, Potash Corporation, The Stanley Works, and Verint Systems.
Dennis has been chair of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation and was formerly its vice chair for professional services. He currently co-chairs the Tax Section's Task Force on Patenting Tax Strategies. He is a trustee of the American Tax Policy Institute, a member of The American Law Institute, and a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel. Dennis also has been active in alumni affairs for Dartmouth College.
