Law Firm Overview

Robert J. Hribar was admitted to practice as an attorney in the State of Michigan in 1966.

Mr. Hribar received his undergraduate degree from the University of Detroit in 1963.  He obtained his law degree from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1966.

Since his admission to practice, Mr. Hribar has been located in Macomb County.  He practices law in all courts, including Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and St. Clair counties.

His practice focuses on divorce, probate, criminal, DUI, zoning and planning, real estate, contracts and corporate and business law.  He is general counsel for various mid-size Michigan corporations.

Mr. Hribar also has an extensive municipal law practice having served as attorney for the City of Eastpointe from 1972 through the present.

He is very involved in alternative dispute resolution.  He serves as a case evaluator (mediator), facilitator and arbitrator for both divorce and general civil matters in the Macomb County Circuit Court.  He has been a seminar speaker on Mediation and the Open Meetings Act.

Mr. Hribar is an AV rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, a national service that rates attorneys.  An AV rating indicates very high to preeminent legal ability and very high ethical standards as established by confidential opinions from members of the Bar.  He has had this rating for more than 20 years.

Mr. Hribar is a member of the Macomb County Bar Association and is a Past President of the organization.  He is a former member of the Representative Assembly of the State Bar of Michigan and has served on several State Bar committees as well.  Additionally, he is a member of the Catholic Lawyer's Society and a Hearing Panel member of the State of Michigan Attorney Discipline Board.
