Professional Experience

Mark was admitted to practice law in Michigan and started at the firm in 1983. He was admitted as a member of the firm in 1988. He is also a member of the Finance Committee, Opinion Letter Committee, former head of the Attorney Development Committee, former Group Coordinator for the Real Estate Practice Group and a member of the Firm's Board of Directors.  He focuses his practice in the commercial development and leasing of real estate.  He is a frequent speaker on leasing, development and condominium issues.  Mark is the former Chair of the Commercial Leasing section of the State Bar, and a current member of the Counsel for the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar, a member of the Continuing Education Committee and a member of the ICLE Advisory Committee at the University of Michigan.

Development, financing and leasing of office, industrial, apartment and retail projects nationwide. Acquisition, development and sales of manufactured housing communities. Representation of landlords in office leases ranging from 5,000 to 500,000 square feet; Retail leases in regional malls, big box centers and foodbased centers; Industrial leases from 5,000 to 785,000 square feet.

Development Law

Acquisition and development of projects for residential industrial, and retail purposes. Land Division Act compliance. Comply condominium conversions and development.
