Lawyer Overview

Thomas Beaudoin is a partner and the chair of the firm's Fund Formation Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2004.

Practice

Mr. Beaudoin advises US and non-US fund managers, institutional investors and investment advisers on a broad range of issues, including capital formations, secondary transactions, portfolio investments, internal governance and administration, and divestments and distributions. He is widely recognized as a leading lawyer in the global private equity market. A frequent lecturer and panelist at private equity industry-sponsored events both in the United States and abroad, he also writes for several prominent private equity publications.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Beaudoin was a partner at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP.

Professional Activities

Mr. Beaudoin is a member of the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.
