Thomas Beaudoin is a partner and the Chair of the firm's Fund Formation Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2004.

Practice

Mr. Beaudoin advises venture capital and private equity funds, and is a leader in the field of fund formation. His clients include premier venture capitalists in the United States, Israel and other technology centers, and small and mid-sized private equity funds. Mr. Beaudoin also represents institutional investors in the United States and abroad in their investments in all types of private investment funds. Mr. Beaudoin speaks frequently at private equity industry-sponsored events.

Mr. Beaudoin’s clients include North Bridge Venture Partners, Canaan Partners, Khosla Ventures, Emergence Capital, Pitango Ventures, Carmel Ventures and Adveq.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Beaudoin was a partner at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP.

Professional Activities

Mr. Beaudoin is on the Advisory Board to Asset Alternatives’ survey of “Private Equity Partnership Terms and Conditions.” He also serves on the Advisory Committee of The Association for Private Partnerships at Boston Private Bank & Trust Co. Mr. Beaudoin is a member of the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.
