Daniel Bach also served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney where he spent many years prosecuting white-collar crimes from 1986 until 2000.  During his tenure as a Federal Prosecutor, Daniel Bach served for three years as Chief of the Civil Division for U.S. Attorney's Office in Western District of Wisconsin and Special Counsel for the United States Sentencing Commission from 1991 until 1992.  He spent many years as a complex white-collar crime prosecutor in that office.

While in private practice, Daniel Bach handled commercial and employment related litigation.  From 1984 until 1986 he served as a Clerk for former Federal Judge Robert W. Warren.

Daniel Bach graduated cum laude from the U.W. Law School where he was an Associate Editor of Wisconsin Law Review.  He holds a degree from the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated cum laude.
