Law Firm Overview

I founded the Law Office of Joseph A. Livesay in Memphis, Tennessee in 1972. I care deeply for the individuals I represent and the interests of my clients remain first and foremost throughout my representation. Recognizing that being involved in a lawsuit can be an overwhelming experience, I strive to make my clients comfortable. My offices are in the First James Lee House, an historic mansion built by an attorney in 1869. The old mansion retains the feeling of a home and contributes to the friendly, family-oriented environment I maintain for my clients. Be assured, however, that I have not sacrificed productivity for comfort. I keep pace with the latest in technological advances and I am constantly seeking more efficient and cost effective ways to serve my clients. I also have a policy of accessibility and convenience. My office is conveniently located one half block from the courthouse and has available and free parking. I offer free initial consultations and can make arrangements to meet with you outside of normal business hours. In appropriate circumstances, I provide payment plans.
