Law Firm Overview

While Joni Franklin is an avid world traveler, she is originally from Council Grove, Kansas and has always been a Kansas girl at heart. She attended high school in Kansas City, Kansas and then went on to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kansas State University, and later her law degree from Kansas University.

During law school, Joni studied abroad one semester in Nairobi, Africa where she did relief work for the U.N. in Somalia, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Zaire. She worked in refugee camps, and helped give nutritional assistance to under-nourished children. As an avid traveler, Joni has continued to travel the world

Joni is very devoted to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and dedicates much of her time and energy to that mission including providing assistance in Washington D.C. during mission day.

Joni is a mother of an active toddler and has a wonderful husband who is also a public servant.
