David represents sellers and purchasers of residential and commercial real estate from contract through closing, and lessors and lessees of same, including negotiating and drafting leases and preparing demands and petitions for enforcement proceedings.  He has also represented sponsor entities and cooperative corporations in sales of cooperative apartments, filing amendments to offering plans and preparing transfer and license agreements with shareholders.

Prior to joining the Firm in 2007, David practiced in the same areas as an associate at Levy & Boonshoft, PC. From 1987 to 2000 he was associated with Roper, Barandes & Fertel, where he counseled clients, negotiated and drafted documents in and for distribution of films and acquisition of rights and services for films and live-theatre productions, and prosecuted copyright and trademark registrations.

David received a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1982 and a Bachelor of Arts, with Honors in English, from Haverford College in 1979. He is admitted to the State Bar of New York.
