Philip H. Thomas is a partner of the Firm and is a member of the Corporate and Real Estate Departments. He has over 20 years of professional experience in the areas of real estate and commercial transactions.

He represents a broad range of clients, including institutional lenders, hotel owners and operators, and commercial landlords and tenants, and has experience in most aspects of real estate ownership, development and leasing, representing both U.S. and foreign clients. Mr. Thomas has handled matters involving financings on behalf of lenders and borrowers, acquisitions and dispositions for partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations, new construction and renovations, leasing for landlords and tenants, and ongoing management issues. These transactions have involved hotels, office buildings, shopping centers, retail stores, rental apartment complexes, co-operative apartment corporations, condominium developments and industrial properties. Mr. Thomas also has extensive experience in other commercial matters including, without limitation, trademark licensing.

Mr. Thomas received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1984 and his B.B.A. cum laude from Hofstra University in 1980.

Mr. Thomas is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Real Property Law Section and the Environmental Law Section.
