Lawyer Overview

Alan Friedman specializes in complex business litigation and arbitration. He has represented a broad range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, health care institutions, and high-profile hotel companies.

Alan is a past president of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Los Angeles Chapter. He served as chairman of the statewide ABTL Discovery Rules Task Force of lawyers and judges, which formulated streamlined discovery procedures for use in civil business cases. He currently serves on the Los Angeles Superior Court ADR Committee and its ADR Operations Subcommittee. He is a past chair of the Federal Courts and Practices Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and of a joint state bar and LACBA committee on the Local Rules of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Alan is a member of the Litigation Sections of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, Southern California Super Lawyers, Who's Who in American Law, and Who's Who in America.
