Victor Chang is a seasoned litigator with more than 20 years of experience in complex litigation, white-collar criminal defense, corporate control fights, and construction and IP disputes. He provides domestic and foreign clients with effective legal strategies and practical solutions. In the early stages of disputes, Victor seeks to offer alternative approaches to minimize the risk of litigation; however, when litigation becomes inevitable, Victor formulates solid strategic planning tailored to his clients' specific needs. He is particularly known for helping clients turn disadvantageous positions into more favorable ones, in order to tactfully guide disputes to an amicable resolution.

Victor has successfully handled disputes in a number of different areas. In intellectual property litigation, Victor represented D-Link to successfully procure indictment of key persons at VIA Technologies, a significant competitor of Intel, on criminal charges for infringement of copyright and misappropriation of trade secrets. In construction disputes, Victor represented Matra Transport and obtained final judgment from the Taiwan Supreme Court ordering the Taipei municipal government to honor and pay an arbitral award of approximately US$62 million. In cross-border matters, Victor represented CT&D in coordinating disputes in various jurisdictions, including the Cayman Islands, Samoa, Vietnam, and Taiwan. He also defends individual and corporate clients in insider trading and white-collar criminal investigations and prosecutions.

Victor has earned law degrees in the United States, Taiwan, and China. He has been recognized as a leading lawyer in current editions of Asia Pacific Legal 500 (for dispute resolution) and Chambers Asia (for dispute/IP).
