Steve Gillette advises companies and financial institutions on a broad range of corporate and securities matters. He also advises on governance and compliance matters and represents participants in a range of transactions including public equity and debt securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity and venture capital investments.

Public and private company clients Steve advises on a regular basis include Hands-On Mobile, Neurotech, Oclaro SunPower, Support.com, and Virage Logic. Steve's recent transactional representations include Solar Integrated Technologies' sale to Energy Conversion Devices, SunPower's $3 billion spin-off from Cypress and more than $1 billion of public debt and equity offerings, Wavecom's successful defense against a hostile bid by Gemalto and subsequent sale to Sierra Wireless, and Burrill, NBGI, Quilvest, The Riverside Company, and Total SA in various private equity and venture capital transactions.
