Lawyer Overview

Darren Feider is an equity member in the Seattle office. His legal practice has three primary areas of concentration: general employment litigation, construction defect litigation and general commercial litigation. A member of the firm for more than 17 years, Mr. Feider launched his career as a lawyer with Fulbright & Jaworski in Texas before joining Williams Kastner. He is a frequent speaker and author on labor issues and legislation as well as topics related to commercial litigation. He is fluent in French understands Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. 

 

Mr. Feider’s employment litigation includes defending employers in harassment and discrimination claims, unpaid wages and overtime claims, disability and accommodation claims, unemployment compensation and workers compensation claims, and noncompete, non-solicitation and confidentiality claims. Mr. Feider also defends employers in response to EEOC and Washington State Human Rights Commission investigations. He further has handled investigations for private employers in response to harassment and discrimination claims.

 

Mr. Feider’s construction experience includes defending general contractors from owners claims and pursuing third party claims against subcontractors in construction defect cases. Mr. Feider has represented multiple trades, including concrete, electrical, siding, roofing, insulation, and flooring from claims asserted by general contractors. 

 

Mr. Feider’s commercial experience includes representing corporations in all forms of disputes including breach of contract, antitrust, collection, enforcement of judgments.
