Lawyer Overview

Sally Crawford practices in the areas of corporate finance, general corporate, and securities law, with particular concentration in the area of representation of growth companies, both private and public, in the technology, transportation, manufacturing, and service industries. She also has organized and represented numerous nonprofit corporations. Sally has extensive experience in the negotiation of contracts for, and providing corporate governance and general business advice to CEOs of, privately held middle market companies and nonprofit corporations. She was formerly a vice president of administration for an international mechanical contracting company.

Sally is a director of the Dallas Bar Association, Texas Business Law Foundation, Dallas Entrepreneurship Institute, the College of the State Bar of Texas, and Legal Aid of North West Texas. She has been a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas for more than 10 years, a Fellow of the Dallas Bar Foundation and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and a member of the Texas Bar Foundation. Sally also serves on the board of the Richardson Symphony League in Richardson, Texas.

Sally serves as pro bono coordinator of the Dallas Office of Jones Day. She has been actively involved in pro bono work since 1986 and was named the pro bono attorney of the year by the Women's Advocacy Center in 2003 and by the Dallas Bar Association in 2005. Most recently she received the Frank J. Scurlock Award for outstanding pro bono work in the field of providing legal services to indigents.
