Jon Papin was previously a partner in the defense firm of Bollinger, Ruberry & Garvey. For the last eight years, he has dedicated his law practice to representing victims of birth injury, medical malpractice, commercial trucking accidents and construction disasters.

In 2011, Jon Papin was also part of a Cogan & McNabola trial team which secured a jury verdict of  $6.952 million to a 61 year old man who lost his lower leg while working at a City of Chicago construction site.

In 2010, Jon Papin was part of the same Cogan & McNabola trial team which secured a record high wrongful death medical malpractice verdict in DuPage County. In 2008, he had over $30 million dollars in jury verdicts and settlements, including a $9.8 million verdict (which is the highest net jury verdict in Illinois for a case involving complex regional pain syndrome). A commercial trucking case venued in Federal Court in Chicago settled for $13 million dollars. It involved a fatigued trucker who caused the Wrongful Deaths of a mother and her two young sons. In the five previous years, he obtained more than $57 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. Jon Papin was chosen by his peers in 2008 as being in the top 5% of attorneys in Illinois and is a member of the Illinois Leading Lawyers Network. In 2011 he was selected for inclusion in Illinois Super Lawyers. He is the Illinois State Advisory Board Member to APITLA (Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America).
