Prior to entering private practice, she served as law clerk to the Honorable Graham T. Ross, Presiding Family Court Judge Somerset County. Ms. Friedland was born in Smithtown, New York on July 21, 1970. She attended Lehigh University, graduating with a B.A. in 1992. She also attended Western New England College, School of Law, graduating in 1995. Ms. Friedland is admitted to the New Jersey Bar, 1995; U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, 1995; New York Bar, 1996; and New York Court of Appeals, 1996.

She is currently a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, for which she sits on the Adoption Committee and Young Lawyers Committee of the Family Law Section; Somerset and Morris County Bar Associations. Ms. Friedland also serves as an Early Settlement Panelist for Somerset and Sussex County and volunteers for the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project. Her work has been reported in the case of Miller v Miller, 160 N.J. 408 (1999).
