Ansgar Rempp advises clients in corporate and transactional matters, focusing on cross-border transactions, restructurings, and corporate governance questions. He is Partner-in-Charge of the Firm's Munich Office.

Representative cross-border transactions include: Abbott Laboratories' acquisition of BASF's pharmaceutical business, Bayer's sale of its stake in GE Bayer Silicones to Apollo Management, Cerberus' and Goldman Sachs' acquisition of Wittur AG, and numerous transactions for Harman International Industries, including the first successful combined mandatory tender offer and squeeze out under German law.

Other clients which Ansgar has represented include Baker Hughes, Citigroup, Cooper Tire, Diebold, Eastman Chemical, General Motors, GfK, Great Lakes Chemical, IBM, Lanxess, La Poste Française, Mahle, Merz Pharma, NACCO, National City Bank, SAP, Stanley Works, Suzuki, Textron, Timken, TUI, and Vossloh.

Ansgar serves in a number of corporate functions for clients. For more than five years, he has served as the chairman of the supervisory board of Harman Becker Automotive Systems.
