Lawyer Overview

Paul’s practice focuses on all aspects of corporate, commercial and finance of midsize and large businesses, with a particular emphasis on real estate, debtor-creditor relations, environmental, and merger and acquisitions work. Paul graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University and earned his law degree the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Paul also co-founded, co-owned and managed Brownfield Realty, Ltd., a company involved in environmentally sensitive commercial and industrial real-estate properties (brownfields).

Paul has specific expertise in

• Health-care, corporate and commercial transactions
• Real-estate tax, including simple and complex 1031 exchanges
• Tax-exempt municipal financing
• All aspects of environmental issues concerning real estate
• Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings
• Asset protection planning

Paul is an adjunct professor in business law at Cedar Crest College, and has authored and lectured on a number of topics relating to Asset Protection and brownfields issues. In his spare time, he is learning to fly helicopters, because just flying planes got boring.
