Knowledge and Experience

I have an extensive background in criminal law and litigation through private practice, and I teach law to students in the School of Business at Hampton University. I have pursued both aspects of my career with equal zest since 1973.

My primary areas are the criminal defense of drunk driving, drug violations, car accident injuries, personal injuries, and medical malpractice. Many of my clients are military officers, and enlisted personnel, college students, and community members.

Versatility

I have the ability to switch from representing a client in significant civil litigation involving hundreds of thousands of dollars to defending a college student for drunk driving or drug charges. I am equally comfortable with assisting officers or the enlisted personnel in any branch of the Armed Forces. I have traveled or lived in many places around the world and understand that when a person is living far from home, there are times when you get into a jam and need help getting out of it.
