The firm was founded by O. Fayrell Furr, Jr., in 1979 in Columbia, South Carolina. In 1990 the firm name was changed to Law Offices of Furr and Henshaw, P.A. and became Furr, Henshaw  & Ohanesian in 2001. Starting with a local general practice, the firm serves the entire state of South Carolina and nearby states and maintains two fully staffed offices concentrating in the areas of:
