Lawyer Overview
Jackie Holmes represents clients in a wide variety of occupational safety and health, traditional labor, and employment matters. Her experience includes litigating and resolving all phases of significant contested OSHA matters before administrative law judges and the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, representing clients in OSHA rulemaking proceedings, and assisting clients in a range of OSHA compliance issues. Jackie's practice has a particular emphasis on ergonomics, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, confined space, chemical process safety management, and a variety of industrial hygiene issues. She has also represented clients in traditional labor and employment matters before state and federal administrative agencies and in federal and state trial and appellate courts. She has coauthored a number of articles on workplace safety issues, with a particular focus on ergonomics and General Duty Clause enforcement. Her clients represent many diverse industries, including consumer product and chemical manufacturing, newspaper publishing, and retail sales.
