Drexel Feeling's practice focuses on protecting the intellectual property rights of semiconductor, telecommunications, electronics, and other technology companies in the electrical engineering-related arts. He both defends against patent infringement actions and enforces clients' patent rights in federal court and the ITC. He also develops and manages client patent portfolios, analyzes competitors' patent portfolios, presents opinions on patent-related matters, and provides prelitigation intellectual property counseling to clients.

Drexel has successfully defended clients in many of the popular venues for patent litigation. While defending one of the world's largest wireless communications companies in the Eastern District of Texas, he successfully invalidated the asserted patent through his persuasive summary judgment brief and hearing presentation, which was affirmed on appeal to the Federal Circuit.

Before joining Jones Day, Drexel served as an engineer in the U.S. Air Force for eight years. At White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, he designed analog and digital data acquisition systems for high-speed operational and environmental testing of guidance systems and navigational systems. At Wright-Patterson AFB, he managed the development and acquisition of infrared navigational and targeting systems for use on F-15 and F-16 fighter jets. He holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from Wright State University.

Drexel is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association. He has served as a member of the board of trustees of several nonprofit organizations that serve the Greater Cleveland area. He also serves as president of the Shaker Heights Board of Education.
