Mark Andreini's practice focuses on representing corporate policyholders in insurance coverage disputes and advising clients in insurance placements. Mark has obtained insurance recoveries for environmental cleanups, toxic torts suits, personal injury and property damage claims, industrial accident cases, securities and fiduciary liability claims, DOJ investigations, employment discrimination matters, product liability claims, and first-party business interruption losses. In addition, he has represented insurers in claims against their reinsurers.

Most recently, Mark litigated successfully on behalf of Brush Wellman against its London insurers in a case seeking coverage for claims arising from exposure to beryllium, which established key principles of Ohio law on the duty to defend. He is currently representing The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in a D&O coverage dispute arising out of an SEC investigation regarding the company's announcement that it was restating earnings in 2003. He is also involved in the Firm's representation of Bridgestone Americas tire operations in litigation involving coverage for asbestos liabilities. Other companies with which Mark has worked on substantial insurance and reinsurance recovery matters include Alderwoods, Bridgestone/Firestone, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, Cryo-Cell, The Doctors Company, DPL Inc., Lincoln Electric, Sherwin-Williams, and Southern Company.
