December 2009 Mr. Walkenhorst was recommended to me concerning disability benefits. I contacted his office and that day he called me about my case. In a short period of time my case was handled and filed. He explained everything needed to be done in laymans terms and clearly. When I would call the office he would take my call or return it in a timely manner. We communicated by phone and email which was extremely helpful. Whenever I contacted him he was receptive to my questions and extremely helpful. Recently I had some questions in dealing with Social Security. When I contacted Mr. Walkenhorst and in this case my questions were answered the same day. I have dealt with many professionals in my life and Mr. Walkenhorst would be at the top of my list for recommendations when you would need services of a legal matter that his office handles. A true professional who cares about his clients and works extremely hard for them.
I had heard such horror storied about the Social Security Disability application process and was feeling very anxious and, to be honest, downright scared. A friend glowingly recommended Ted Walkenhorst to me and, thankfully, I listened to her. Ted clearly outlined what was required for this process, helped me complete the paperwork and reviewed everything I wrote before submitting it. I felt very comfortable calling and asking questions. His assistants, Rosemary and Claudette, were pleasant, helpful and patient with every call. I had a number of health issues including triple heart bypass during the 15 months process but, because of Ted and his staff, I experienced little stress. I was, as are the majority of applicants, initially denied disability but Ted appealed the decision and it was miraculously reversed within three months of the denial! Ted and his staff turned what could have been a very difficult experience into a smooth, quick and, yes, pleasant experience. With absolutely no reservation, I highly recommend Ted Walkenhorst and the staff of Disability Benefits Law Center.
I want to write a "glowing" testimonial in behalf of my attorney, Ted Walkenhorst. He did an ABSOLUTELY GREAT JOB in representing me and he won the case for me! Not only was he so pleasant and easy to work with but also was the rest of his staff. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to everyone! (Use him immediately when you're disabled so you won't have to go through what I went through) I'll just bottom line my Disability Case. 1. I got sick in 1989 - many of the doctors who treated me are no longer in this area, did not have my records or retired. So that was a very difficult situation but Mr. Walkenhorst handled that admirably. 2. This is the third (3) time I tried to win Disability. I was denied the first two (2) times. 3. I went to a very large Law Firm who advertises all the time on television and they would not even take my case as they thought it was too old and too hard to win but Ted WON IT! Best wishes! Lindyo
Dear Ted: I want to thank you, Rosemary, and your staff from the bottom of my heart for the incredibly excellent and professional work you did in helping me file and receive my social security disability benefits. As you know, due to my illness, it was very difficult for me to even file for disability. You not only helped me through this very difficult process and period, but you also stuck with it all the way till completion (which as you know, took quite some time and effort) and even after that by providing me with sound advice, tenacious follow-up, and the comfort in knowing I was in good hands. You are a true gentleman and the consummate professional. Thanks to my doctor and you, I am on the road to recovery and able to provide for my family. We can never thank you enough for helping me obtain these important benefits, and for all of your support. You and your staff offer something that not many others do these days; a personal touch and first rate service to people who really need it. You have a kind heart, know your business inside and out, and know how to get the job done to close the deal. I feel that I can rely on you for anything and appreciate everything you have done for me and my family. I highly recommend you and your firm to anyone out there that is disabled and is due social security benefits. If they are smart, they wouldn't even consider using anyone else..
I needed procedural advice on how to initiate a Social Security Disability claim. I contacted Ted Walkenhorst. He made it his business to work with me promplly and advised me on how to proceed with the filing of the claim on the SSA website. I expected to receive a preliminary denial from SSA, which is often the case. I followed Mr. Walkenhorst's recommendations in terms of the contents of the claim. He was kind enough to go over the application for disability before I submitted it. Much to my surprise the SSA factfinder approved my claim at the first stage. Mr Walkenhorst accepted no financial reimbursement for his efforts, telling me that only if the case had gone on to appeal would he have been fully retained as my attorney in this matter. His efforts to date were all pro-bono.To me this just proves how Mr Walkenhorst gives every client a high level of service and attention from the outset. This is a rare, rare quality in the legal field. Thank you Ted, you have helped bring security and dignity to a person who really needed it. You have my most heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for your excellent advice and guidance.
Over a period of approximately a month, Mr. Walkenhorst assisted me in filing a disability claim. I completed the information on line however Mr. Walkenhorst reviewed all of it and made appropriate suggestions and recommendations. He responded to all of my emails in a very prompt and timely manner. I found Mr. Walkenhorst reliable, professional, very supportive and a man of his word. He understands the need for confidentiality and can definitely be relied upon for this. In addition to his help in completing the forms, Mr. Walkenhorst contacted me by phone prior to my submitting the final forms/documents and gave additional suggestions. I definitely feel he is a lawyer who has the interest of his client first and I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.
