Lawyer Overview

Steve Geise is a trial lawyer who focuses on defending companies in product liability lawsuits in state and federal courtrooms throughout the country. In that work, he has represented the manufacturers of airplanes, cigarettes, elevators, off-road vehicles, pharmaceuticals, and other consumer goods in both individual and class action litigation. In addition, Steve represents clients in general, commercial, and intellectual property litigation matters.

Steve has served as part of the national counsel team representing R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. in complex product liability suits since 1996 and is currently defending Reynolds in personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits in California, Florida, and New York. He is also actively representing Yamaha Motor Co. in litigation across the United States involving the popular Rhino side-by-side vehicle. Recently Steve successfully defended Experian Information Solutions in a class action brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Steve is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. He is also a barrister in the Welsh Chapter of the American Inns of Court.
