A. Stanley Robinson is a partner and founder of the Firm. He is a member of the Corporate, Tax and Litigation Departments. His practice specializes in Trust and Estate matters and family business, succession planning and commercial litigation.

Mr. Robinson represents clients in planning an orderly distribution of assets in effective tax saving manners using complex wills, gift planning, trusts including irrevocable trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, grantor retained unitrusts, life insurance trusts, defective trusts, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, and family limited partnerships to take advantage of estate minimization techniques using valuation discounts.

He has represented executors and trustees in the administration of trusts and estates, as well as having served in many instances as an executor and trustee for clients. Mr. Robinson has also represented clients in complex litigated matters. Mr. Robinson is an ""AV"" rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available to attorneys.

Mr. Robinson graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Accounting and received his J.D. from the University of Tennessee in 1954. He received his LLM in Taxation from New York University in 1956.
