Law Firm Overview

Our office, conveniently located about one-half mile from New Hanover Regional Medical Center, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The small size of our firm enables us to maintain a quality relationship with each and every one of our clients, relationships based on integrity, respect, and open communication. We are available for communication by Email as well as telephone, and have 24-hour voicemail that enables us to confer with clients as needed during evenings, weekends, and holidays about emergency matters.

When you first telephone our office you will speak with an assistant who will take some initial background information and then schedule an appointment for an initial consultation with Ms. Hager or Ms. Quattrucci, for which we charge $200.

We charge hourly rates as follows for most of our domestic relations work: Ms. Hager - $200.00; Ms. Quattrucci - $150.00; Paralegal - $75.00. Typically we require a retainer of $1500 - $5,000 which we deposit in our Firm's trust account, and then draw on as we spend time working for you. We send out monthly statements to keep you apprised of the status of your account. We charge flat fees, available upon request, for uncontested absolute divorces.

For couples interested in mediation as means of resolving disputes related to their separation or divorce, Ms. Hager offers a free thirty-minute consultation, during which she explains the mediation process and goes over her Agreement to Mediate, which must be signed before mediation can begin. We typically schedule mediation conferences in two-hour blocks of time. We charge a one-time administrative fee of $100 and then $150 an hour for Ms. Hager's time thereafter spent on the mediation.
