Avery and Upton, Attorneys at Law began as the Law Offices of Bruce E. Avery in 1993. After more than fifteen years of military service as a member of the Judge Advocate General Corps, Bruce Avery established his family law practice in Rockville, MD. Bruce spent the next decade focused entirely on representing and advising individuals and families in a range of family law matters including:

In 2003, Bruce welcomed his new partner, Prudence Upton to the firm. Prudence brings her own experience in the field of family law. Rina Erhart joined the firm as an associate in 2006.
