Miller are all members of the Lawyers Advisory Committee to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, helping to establish new or revised local rules and procedures for the District Court. Additionally, in 2008 the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey decided that the increase of patent litigation required special local rules for patent cases, and Donald A. Robinson was one of eight local attorneys appointed to a Committee to help draft those Local Patent Rules. Leda Dunn Wettre served as a consultant to that Committee. Now that the Local Patent Rules are in effect, Mr. Robinson remains active on the Committee to oversee and evaluate the implementation and operation of the Local Patent Rules.

The firm's long and close relationship with the local Federal Court in particular has enabled it to provide insightful practice tips and guidance to out-of-State counsel.
