Bennett J. Bernblum ("BJ") is a partner in Wiggin and Dana's Corporate Practice Department. He joined Wiggin and Dana in 1982. BJ practices corporate law, corporate health care law, construction law, and sales, use and property taxation. His practice includes the representation of for-profit and nonprofit entities in various industries, including health care providers and organizations, in connection with business formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, licensing agreements, construction projects, shareholder disputes, and other business and corporate matters. BJ has substantial experience resolving disputes with local assessors and boards of assessment appeals and the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services.

BJ is a member of the American and Connecticut Bar Associations, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the Connecticut Health Lawyers Association. BJ is listed in the 2010 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the category of Health Care Law.

BJ received his B.A. from Yale University cum laude, and his J.D. from New York University School of Law.
