Bennett J. Bernblum is a partner in Wiggin and Dana's Business Practice Department. He received his undergraduate degree from Yale University cum laude in 1969 and his law degree from New York University School of Law in 1982. He joined Wiggin and Dana in 1982. BJ practices corporate law, corporate health care law, construction law, and sales, use and property taxes. His practice includes the representation of for-profit and nonprofit entities in various industries, including health care providers and related entities, in connection with business formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, licensing agreements, construction projects, shareholder disputes, and other business and corporate matters. BJ has substantial experience resolving disputes with local assessors and boards of assessment appeals and the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services.

BJ is a member of the American and Connecticut Bar Associations, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the Connecticut Health Lawyers Association.
