Lawyer Overview

Michael Levin is a trial lawyer with a broad range of experience in commercial litigation, including contract, real estate, and construction litigation; intellectual property litigation; securities litigation; healthcare litigation; and professional liability litigation involving the defense of lawyers and accountants. He has tried cases in state and federal courts throughout Florida, and has also appeared in courts in Arizona, California, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, and New York.

Mr. Levin regularly represents corporate clients in the healthcare, aerospace and construction industries, as well as professionals and entrepreneurs in partnerships and closely held corporations engaged in a broad spectrum of business activities. He has handled numerous lawsuits arising out of the termination or dissolution of legal, medical and accounting practices, and he has served as lead counsel in dozens of cases arising out of disputes over the development of Florida real estate.

Intellectual property litigation is also a significant aspect of Mr. Levin's practice. He has represented clients in patent cases involving aviation components, biotechnology-related patents, testing equipment and related devices, safety gear for emergency service providers, and other products. His copyright litigation experience includes cases involving music as well as computer software, and he has defended and prosecuted a wide variety of cases involving allegations of trademark infringement and violations of the Lanham Act.

Mr. Levin is a member of the Florida and American Bar Associations.
