Lawyer Overview
Lester Savit heads the intellectual property practice in Jones Day's Irvine Office, representing high-tech companies in California and throughout the country. He has successfully represented major U.S. corporations as both plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement actions. Lester has obtained judgments in favor of patent owners totaling more than $93 million.
In addition to his litigation practice, Lester advises clients on special projects involving protecting inventions and avoiding infringement. He writes and speaks on current intellectual property and litigation issues. He frequently participates on expert panels at UCLA and has been quoted on intellectual property issues in the Los Angeles Times, California Lawyer, and InfoWorld.
