                       a.      Nicholas J. Lagattuta

A partner in the firm, Nicholas J. Lagattuta specializes in Criminal, Divorce, Personal Injury and Real Estate matters.

Nicholas Lagattuta completed his Juris Doctor at DePaul University in 1982.   He also earned his baccalaureate degree in Accounting from DePaul University. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1982.

Nicholas Lagattuta has prosecuted and tried a wide range of civil and criminal cases.

His extensive experience as a Cook County Assistant States Attorney has served the firm's clients well.  A broad range of experience in search and seizure, driving while intoxicated, preliminary hearing, grand jury and all related criminal issues have all proved to be invaluable.

Nicholas Lagattuta's numerous professional and civic memberships reflect his burning desire to stay deeply involved in the community he serves. He is a member of the American Bar Association and Northwest Suburban Bar Association. He serves as a board member of Dream for Kids, the Twinbrook Campanelli YMCA Board, and on the Holy Cross High School Board. He has also served on the DePaul University College of Commerce Alumni Board and is a past member of the Schaumburg A.M. Rotary Club.

Criminal Law - Our firm has extensive experience defending the rights of people arrested and accused of criminal offenses. We handle all types of criminal cases, including minor infractions and misdemeanors and the most serious felony indictments, such as, drunk driving, drug possession, narcotics sales, theft and grand larceny, white collar fraud, embezzlement, sex offenses, arson, and conspiracy.

Estate Planning - Our firm handles Estate Planning matters which is the area dealing with the distribution of an individual's property at his or her death, taking into account wills, taxes, insurance, property, and trusts so as to gain maximum benefit of all laws and, at the same time, carrying out the person's wishes.

Family Law - Our firm handles a full range of Family Law matters including adoption, divorce, separation, premarital agreements, paternity, custody, and support.
