Ron Damashek concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation and real estate litigation, including both trials and alternative dispute resolution, such as arbitration and mediation. Mr. Damashek has significant experience in cases involving breaches of contract and fiduciary duty, partnership disputes, statutory construction, debt collection, lender liability, trusts and estates, fraud, and negligence. In addition, his real estate litigation practice includes, but is not limited to, representation of condominium associations and real estate developers, construction defect litigation, mechanics' lien and landlord-tenant disputes, and actions for specific performance of contracts. In addition, he has managed the collection of loan and account receivable pools, supervised local counsel, and regularly counsels clients on business issues.

Mr. Damashek has extensive experience in the field of mortgage foreclosures, having foreclosed hundreds of mortgages secured by such diverse properties as downtown office buildings, commercial shopping centers, apartment buildings, condominiums, and single-family residential developments. As part of his foreclosure practice, Mr. Damashek has represented secured creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and has worked with, and represented, court-appointed receivers. In addition, he has lectured on mortgage foreclosure practices and strategies to lenders, attorneys and paralegals.

Mr. Damashek also regularly represents the title insurance industry in the arbitration and litigation of matters involving title defects, title insurance coverage, competing lien priorities, the fraudulent procurement of title, boundary disputes, and disputes

Mr. Damashek clerked for the Department of Justice and the Department of Health and Human Services. While in law school, he was a member of the American Criminal Law Review.
