Lawyer Overview

Marlene Frank has significant experience in designing and implementing qualified and nonqualified deferred compensation plans for large organizations and professional corporations. She also has worked extensively with health care plans and other types of welfare benefit plans that generally are provided to employees of both for-profit and tax-exempt organizations.

Marlene's representative clients include Bon Secours Health System, Humility of Mary Health Partners, the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland, and ProMedica Health System. She regularly counsels these and other clients with respect to the employee benefits implications of acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures. Her experience is comprehensive, covering both the federal income tax implications relating to employee benefit plans and the ERISA requirements for such plans. Marlene also has significant experience with the employee benefit issues surrounding the design and implementation of health care integrated delivery systems and managed care contracting networks.

Marlene is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
